Learning Reflections 9-30-13

What I have learned from blogging is that you can post anything you would like to post. Its very simple. You can customize it and design it the way you want. People can follow you and comment on your post. You can post as many things as you would want, anything that you find interesting and want to share. This was a very interesting activity we did. I never heard of Blogger is was new to me but I am use to it, its fun.

Netiquette

Netiquette is a collection of social conventions which dictate the way in which people interact with each other on the Internet. The term is a portmanteau of “net,” short for “Internet,” and “etiquette." Is is another way of communicating on the social network.

Digital Footprint

In my own words a digital footprint is the data trail left by the interactions in a digital environment.Digital Footprints provide data on what has been performed in the digital environment. Digital footprint is like what you leave behind, sort of like a memory. Say you log into Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Tumblr the computer will remember your data such as your email address and password.

Academic Integrity

In today's class we watched a video about Academic Integrity. The video showed us that we are not to copy and past other peoples work. If you are looking at any information should not copy and past any work. What you have to do is read it and type it out in your own words. Also do not take anybody's work and act like your the one who wrote everything.

Blog Post 1- Blogging

I have never blogged before, this would be my first time. Blogging is a discussion or informational site published in the world. I have twitter which is similar to blogging so I might be familiar with it. I don't know much about blogging but I think it is safer than other social medias. I do not follow any blogs but I do follower twitter accounts, they are basically all of my friends and people that I know from school.
